BLURB

What is Carol up to now? Mack has always known his free-spirited wife is bisexual, but it seems she has new adventures on her mind this Christmas season.

Carol has long entertained fantasies of a threesome with herself, her husband, and their attractive nearby neighbor, Tara. Now that Tara’s troublesome ex is out of the picture, is this the season to make Carol’s fantasies come true?

Tara’s felt a little deprived since breaking things off with her ex, and she’ll admit she envies what Mack and her best friend Carol seem to share. If they invite her to join them, will she dare?

EXCERPT

Set Up: Carol, Mack, and Tara are unwrapping presents together by the Christmas tree.

Ten Sentences…

“Look, here are two more gifts…from Santa. One for me and one for Tara.” Carol gave Mack her best pout. “Sorry, honey, looks like Santa forgot you.” She winked at Tara. “We’ll have to try to make it up to Mack later.”

“So sorry, Mack,” Tara played along. “You must’ve really been a bad boy for Santa to leave you nothing.” She grinned at Carol. “But we good girls weren’t forgotten. What do you suppose Santa wanted to give us?”

And a little more…

“Let’s see.” Carol handed one light package to Tara and they both began to carefully pull at the tissue paper.

“Oh my,” Tara gasped. “Santa has sexy naughty taste.”

“He does, doesn’t he?” Carol held up a sheer pale white camisole and watched Tara do the same. “They match,” she said as if surprised.

Mack cleared his throat. “Wow.”

“Do you think Santa got the right sizes?” Carol looked at Tara.

Tara made a show of carefully examining the thin material. “Hard to tell. He must’ve forgotten to get us bottoms.”

He has to wait his turn… #MFRWSteam #EroticRomance #HolidayStory #LGBTQ #FFM

It’s Christmas Eve—what gifts will Mack, Carol and Tara unwrap together?

Welcome to the MFRW Steam Hop,
where the authors of Marketing for Romance Writers
entice you with steamy excerpts from their erotic romance stories.

Scroll to the end for more of this week’s tempting excerpts.

BLURB

What is Carol up to now? Mack has always known his free-spirited wife is bisexual, but it seems she has new adventures on her mind this Christmas season.

Carol has long entertained fantasies of a threesome with herself, her husband, and their attractive nearby neighbor, Tara.  Now that Tara’s troublesome ex is out of the picture, is this the season to make her fantasies come true?

Tara’s felt a little deprived since cutting things off with her ex, and she’ll admit she envies what Mack and her best friend Carol seem to share. If they invite her to join them, will she dare?

EXCERPT

Set up: The three have unwrapped their gifts – Santa gave both women sheer lacy camisoles but forgot the bottoms. Carol and Tara have tried them on and invited Mack to watch…

“Oh, my,” Tara said, turning slightly to Carol. “You were right. The best Christmas gift is still waiting for us, though it does appear to be already nicely unwrapped.”

“Maybe not so patiently waiting. But,” Carol said, guiding Tara to the throw rugs, “he has to wait his turn. I’m sure Mack wants to know what we’ve been up to these last several months. Maybe we can surpass his fantasies. Do you want to try?”

“Of course.” Tara hugged Carol closely, then stuck her tongue out at Mack. “Don’t let that guy get chilled. I promise I have a place to warm him up if he does. Now, to whet your appetite just a bit more, your wife and I are going do a little more Christmas sharing.”

Carol blew him a kiss. “Don’t worry. Your turn will come.”

Mack watched his wife kneel on the throw rugs and turn her puckered lips toward Tara. On her knees, Tara wrapped her arms around Carol. Their lips barely touched, and then the kiss deepened. Mack blinked. His wife’s hands moved under Tara’s camisole to cup Tara’s breasts. He heard Tara moan as she shifted, giving Carol better access without breaking their kiss. Tara slid a hand down Carol’s back until she was palming Carol’s ass. He saw Tara drag a finger along the crevice between Carol’s ass cheeks. It was then Carol moaned the loudest.

Mack gave up not trying to touch his cock. He’d never in his entire life witnessed anything like this. Even porn had nothing on them. These women were clearly into each other and knew each other’s bodies well.

At last Carol broke away from Tara. “Let’s get rid of Santa’s gifts. They’ve served Santa’s purpose. Now they’re only in the way.”

Tara lifted her arms, and Carol slipped the flimsy garment over her lover’s head. Then Carol raised her arms and Tara did the same before tossing the camisole in his direction. It never reached him as it fluttered to the floor.

“Why don’t you lie down for me?” Carol said, patting the rug and dragging over a couple pillows. “One for your head, and one for your butt.”

Carol knelt beside Tara and spread the woman’s thighs wide. “Let Mack get a good view of his next gift. You okay, honey?” she asked smiling at him. “Don’t you dare let that guy pop until we’re ready.”

Mack stilled his hand on his cock. “I won’t,” he squeaked. “You two are amazing. I feel like I’m watching something sacred unfold.”

“Maybe you are.” Carol redirected her attention to Tara. “Do you want me to prepare you for your next gift?” Carol patted Tara’s pussy lightly.

Tara’s eyelids fluttered closed, then opened wide. “Yes. Please do. I can’t wait much longer.”

“Good.” Carol leaned over and flicked her tongue across the top of Tara’s pussy.

Tara tensed, then relaxed.

“That’s right, let Mrs. Santa prepare you for your Christmas Eve romp. Why don’t you prop yourself up on your elbows, so you can see if your Christmas gift is ready for you?”

Mack watched Tara alter her position so she could see him while Carol continued toying with Tara’s pussy. He knew he must look like a kid gawking in the window of his favorite store. He didn’t know what to say, so he said nothing.

Tara smiled at him. “I think my gift is more than ready. I know I am.”

Carol shook her head. “Not yet. I know you, girl. I want those juices really flowing before sharing Mack with you.”

Tara’s felt a little deprived since breaking things off with her ex, and she’ll admit she envies what Mack and her best friend Carol seem to share. If they invite her to join them, will she dare?

EXCERPT [PG]

It’s getting closer and closer to Christmas – Carol has been planning a very special gift for herself and Mack. Just now they’re sitting in their north woods hot tub under a blanket of stars in early December…

Ten Sentences

“That’s right,” Mack said, “this is the first Christmas since Tara broke up with that asshole, Dereck. Don’t know how she could tolerate such an idiot.”

“Neither does she, now. At least she kept putting off letting him move in with her.”

“Thank God. Can you imagine him for a neighbor?”

“Fortunately, we don’t have to. It’s been eight months. I think we should invite Tara for Christmas Eve. Are you okay with that? I know Christmas Eve is a special time for you. Well, for both of us.”

And a little more…

“No, of course. We can share some of our Christmas Eve traditions with Tara. Maybe she has some, too.”

“And if we get too sloshed, she can stay over.”

“If we stay up until midnight to usher in Christmas like we usually do, the temperature is going to be well below zero. She can stay over if she wants. We’ll need to be sure she has enough presents to unwrap. But…there is one thing.” Mack gave Carol a quizzical look.

“What’s that?” The reflection from the hot tub showed her naughty expression.

“Our Christmas morning playtime.”

Carol giggled. “It’s a tradition. Do you think maybe Tara might enjoy playing with us?”

“Together?” He knew he sounded dumb. This wasn’t the first time his wife had dangled that possibility before him.

“Well, I doubt we’d need separate rooms. What do you think? Wouldn’t Tara make a delightful Christmas gift?

He quickly decided he needed more information before answering that question. Was there a wrong answer?

A little Gypsy magic, some time travel, the power to be invisible…

Welcome to MFRW Hooks, where the authors of Marketing for Romance Writers
share snippets from their stories to entice you into wanting more.
Be sure to click on the links at the end to travel!

BLURB

Always authentic, Assistant Mall Manager Joy Danser insists that her mall Santas must have real beards so children can believe. But even she is unprepared for the very real Santa who visits her bed invisibly this Christmas season. Is she dreaming, or has she gone mad? Joy consults Sophia Nardiz, manager of the Magical Gypsy shop at her mall. Sophia reads her palm and gives her a cryptic message: Joy is at a crossroads, and she must trust her intuition.

Owner of the Magical Gypsy chain and a true Gypsy himself, Nick Polaris is thrilled to play Joy’s Santa, in the mall and in her bed, but he knows it’s only a lark. For true love, he’ll need someone with Gypsy blood. Must he renounce the Scottish redhead he enjoys so much?

EXCERPT – PG

Sophia and Joy have just shared their first lovemaking.

“Who said anything about moving in?” Sophia shook her head. “I may be too fatigued for this conversation. Oh! You think I still live with Nick, don’t you?”

“You don’t?”

“Not for two years or so.”

“Why not?”

Sophia sobered. “Nick needs to find a wife and have a family…”

“…I can’t have children. I love Nick and always will. But our people expect, need him to have heirs.”

“Oh.”

“We still get together now and then, but we’re clear about what we have and don’t have.”

“I’m sorry. I didn’t know.”

“That’s fate.” Sophia shrugged. “So Nick’s not a problem for you or for us.”

“Apparently.” Joy shuddered. “In an off handed way, he asked to escort me to the Christmas Ball. I thought he was kidding.”

“Nick doesn’t do off handed very well. He only says what he means.”

“But he’s looking for a wife.” Joy felt her eyes round. “I’m not wife material.”

Sophia laughed. “I could debate that, but you don’t have to worry. Nick can only marry a woman with at least some gypsy blood. You don’t have gypsy blood do you?”

“No. I highly doubt that. So that makes me safe. I’m Scottish through and through.

Gardens: Mine, and my heroine’s #Gardening #RomanceHeroine #EroticRomance

November 27, 2023 by Adriana Kraft

Most of the year here in the southern Arizona desert, “gardening” consists of either (a) nothing, or (b) moving landscape rock around. Having spent many years in the upper Midwest, I miss so many of my perennials – the snowdrops, daffodils, tulips, iris, peonies, and hostas I kept in several beds. None of those would survive here.

So I always welcome the moment when I can get my hands in the dirt again and cultivate growing things.

Thankfully, now is the season for setting a potted plant in the ground, and now is when our Desert Marigolds send up what seems like thousands of seedlings in front of the house.

I’ve nursed a fledgling bougainvillea in its pot through two summers and one winter. It’s finally happy and established enough to be set in the earth. We spent a week digging the hole – with our hard soil, the process consists of soaking the spot with water, waiting a couple days, digging down 4 or 5 inches, then repeating the process – to 10 inches, for this one. But it’s planted and thriving.

And the marigolds? Here’s a photo from a few years back. They’re a major natural wildflower throughout much of the Sonoran Desert, and our plot was seeded with them when we moved in. I quickly learned that unless I thin them as they emerge, I’ll have a messy non-lovely patch of tangle. Since they pop up everywhere, each year I decide where I want them to end up, then rake the rocks over the spots where I don’t want them, uprooting the sprouts. This year, they’ll circle the white Oleander we just planted out front as well.

Most of the characters in my novels are too busy with other things to spend time gardening, but that doesn’t mean they don’t like gardens. Here’s a scene from a recent release, Smoldering Passion. Melissa lives in a walk-up apartment in Brooklyn, but she’s only a few blocks from the beautiful Brooklyn Gardens, where she often escapes when she needs a break.

EXCERPT

Melissa stood and rotated her shoulders. She had to get out of her apartment. It was a beautiful day, and she didn’t want to spend it all inside.

She grabbed her keys and some cash and headed down the stairs to street level. She walked briskly, suddenly knowing where she wanted to be.

Shortly, she turned in at the entrance to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and slowed her pace, pausing to watch the ducks in the Japanese water garden. This was space for relaxing – for breathing deeply, soaking in colors and breezes and scents. The riot of spring blooms was long gone, and summer was at its peak.

She headed for the Shakespeare Garden and was relieved to find a shady bench empty in a secluded corner. Daisies, black-eyed Susans, and daylilies formed a casual cluster in yellow, white, and orange beside the bench. Further off, some taller mauve blooms she couldn’t name were full of butterflies, and a curly-headed toddler ran up to them laughing gleefully. The child’s parents stood nearby, holding hands, happy, as if they had no care in the world.

Her passion smolders. Will it ignite?

Short on funds now that her graduate stipend is ending, she applies to work where Aunt Phoebe once worked: a center for sexuality and sex studies.

Sworn off women after a disastrous relationship, Center Director Harry Gage ignores the danger signals and hires the striking young woman who reminds him of his former lover. Her air of innocence will captivate center viewers, so he’s sure she’ll be a hit on camera. What he’s not prepared for is how she pierces his heart.
