It’s New York, Central Park is already a winter wonderland, and now there’s a blizzard…

BOOK INFORMATION

Accidental Contact, By Adriana Kraft
Release date: November 3, 2023
Genre: Erotic Romance
Length: Short Story
Pairing: FF
Tropes: Cougar Story, New York City, Snowbound, Just One Bed

BLURB

Natalie and the much younger Bridgette are real estate agents who’ve often traveled together for business seminars.

Now they’re snowbound in New York City in a hotel room with only one bed. Will Natalie dare to make her move?

EXCERPT

For three months, Natalie had eagerly anticipated this trip. She’d bought a pair of pink silk pajamas, wanting to feel a little more presentable and desirable. Pink had always gone well with her dark hair. And she’d come to believe that Bridgette’s choice of silk pajamas was perfect—not too seductive, not too revealing—but classy. Not klutzy like her old sleepwear that resembled sweatpants and gym clothes. On top of that, the feel of silk against flesh was incredibly sensuous.

At least she didn’t have to guess whether Bridgette was into women. She’d never tried to hide that fact. She’d even bemoaned not having found a partner with whom she really wanted to share a lot of time.

Natalie balled her fingers into fists. She’d made the effort to tidy up her pubic hair just in case. She swallowed hard. She couldn’t risk rejection. She’d done all she could. It was up to destiny now. What had Bridgette said? Everything happens for a reason. Maybe the blizzard was heaven sent just for her—just for her and Bridgette.

She blinked back tears. Even a blizzard wouldn’t be enough to fuel her courage. She dozed. Morning couldn’t come too quickly.

“I didn’t realize we were acquainted.” #SnippetSunday #SnipSun #RomanticSuspense #Sale #99¢ #MFRWAuthor

August 20, 2023 by Adriana Kraft

Welcome to Snippet Sunday – ten (or so) sentences from all your favorite romance authors! You’ll find them all at this Facebook Group every Sunday:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/SnippetSunday/

Picking up where we left off last week with The Heist, MF romantic suspense. Kara is meeting Ted – The Art Council Investigator – at the airport.

EXCERPT

So much for a repeat hug.

Ted shook Kara’s hand, giving it an extra squeeze. “Is it always this hot in Lincoln?”

She chuckled. “In early August? Most of the time. I recall it getting quite hot in Chicago, too. Do you need to stop for luggage?”

“You’re right, it does.” He gripped his carry-on bag and briefcase tighter. “This is it. I travel light whenever possible.”

“Good idea. Let’s go, then. It’ll take another hour and a half to get to Elk Grove.”

“That’s fine with me. We’ll have an opportunity to get reacquainted.”

She gave him a sharp look before lengthening her stride and heading for the exit. “I didn’t realize we were acquainted.”

BLURB

A Heist? A Murder? It’s villain’s choice.

A special-order art theft? Tedious, but seamless – until small town museum director Kara Daniels calls in the experts. Furious her favorite trio of priceless impressionist paintings has been stolen from its traveling exhibit on her watch, Kara is determined to save not only the paintings, but her future in the art world. She’ll stop at nothing to entrap the thief.

Ted Springs knows the underbelly of the criminal world a little closer than he might like—but he’s turned it to good advantage, first as a police officer, and now as detective for the Upper Midwest Arts Council. His job? To guarantee the security of the valuable paintings in the Council’s traveling exhibits.

Heat sizzles when Ted and Kara collide—can they work together, before it’s too late?

EXCERPT

Stepping out of the plane gangway into the waiting area, Ted Springs scanned the small crowd waiting to greet passengers over the heads of others disembarking in front of him. He spotted her immediately. She stood at the edge of the crowd and gave a tentative wave when she recognized him.

He nodded in return, trying to be patient with the older ladies ahead of him and a family with two young children. Wearing a simple pink dress that buttoned down the front and fell nearly to the knees, Kara Daniels looked both professional and sexy. Tossing dark hair over her shoulder, she looked much more collected than when he’d last seen her, but then this was not a surprise meeting.

His chest tightened as he neared her. Her breasts were as substantial as he’d remembered. He could still feel them crushing into his chest outside Alice’s office. That had been a shock—a shock he definitely wanted to re-experience.

Kara extended her hand in greeting. So much for a repeat hug.

Did he remember their brief encounter? #SnippetSunday #SnipSun #RomanticSuspense #Sale #99¢ #MFRWAuthor

EXCERPT

Clearing her desk, Kara smiled recalling Sasha’s chauffeur-babysitter reference. Springs might need someone to drive him around, and she’d probably get Irving involved in that, but it was definitely her job to meet him at the airport and see that he was dealt with professionally. He wouldn’t want or need a babysitter.

She allowed her mind to wander to their first meeting in the Art Council’s Chicago offices. It had been a random event, an embarrassing experience. She’d barreled into him while exiting Alice Erikson’s office. Coming along behind her, Alice had made the introductions, saving an awkward moment as Kara disentangled herself from Ted’s arms. She’d never given their meeting much thought, other than to be aware he’d taken more time than needed to free her. She’d never expected to see him again.

Did he remember their brief encounter?

A no-risk way to sample the #Swing #Lifestyle ~ Only #99¢ #LGBTQ+ #EroticRomance #LaterInLife #MFRWAuthor

August 4, 2023 by Adriana Kraft

Why did my husband and I write the short story Swingers Light Up Vegas?

Check all that apply:

__We’re authors – we like to sell books.
__We write books we’d love to read.
__We believe that love is love is love.
__We design our erotic romance books to tantalize readers and spice up their fantasy life.
__We think an active fantasy life is a good thing.
__We think adults over fifty can enjoy an active sex life – long into the future.
__We try to live up to what our very first reviewer said about our first published book, in 2006:

“I highly recommend this book,
although the reader will no doubt want
either a partner or a bucket of toys close at hand.”

Actually, check all of the above.

Swingers Light Up Vegas is a short story we crafted to give our readers a sample of the erotic pleasures enjoyed in the swing lifestyle, at no risk to themselves and for very little investment. We’ve priced it at 99 cents at all e-book vendors, and are also offering it free if you sign up for our newsletter (which you can easily unsubscribe from if you wish).

Oh, and one more reason – we’ve published a series of erotic romance novellas set in the swing lifestyle. They feature the swinging adventures of a different mid-life couple, fifteen books so far and one more on the way. Naturally, we hope if you like the short sample in Swingers Light Up Vegas, you’ll be eager for more. You can find all of them at this Amazon link: Swinging Games (15 book series) Kindle Edition (amazon.com)

What happens in Vegas…

Swingers Dan and Ginger head to Las Vegas to celebrate Ginger’s fiftieth birthday. Through their friends back home, they’ve scored a free week at a posh Vegas resort condominium. They fill their days with every iconic Las Vegas experience they can dream up. But by night? They’re determined not to leave Vegas without sampling what it has to offer in the erotically charged swing lifestyle. A Vegas swing club beckons – will it live up to their fantasies?

Excerpt

Set Up: The morning after their visit to the swing club.

Déjà vu, all over again.

Ginger wasn’t sure if that thought was part of her dream or part of her waking up, but it made her smile. Her full-body stretch confirmed she had some aching muscles—not really sore, but a soft ache that brought back steamy memories. What a night!

She finally opened her eyes to the sight of Dan holding out a hot mug of coffee. If the scent had awakened her, she had no memory trace.

Dan settled in next to her on the bed, a broad smile on his face that she knew mirrored her own. “What a treat,” she said, “to watch you with Lai last night. She sure is a cracker jack. High energy—wonder if she’s insatiable.”

“Pretty close, I’d say. I’m so glad they want another round before we leave. If we do decide to buy a condo here, it looks like the swinging scene is pretty promising. And you’ve gotta know how much I loved watching you and Lai together. You two were so in sync.”

“I do know.” Ginger snuggled a bit closer and clasped Dan’s free hand with her own. “When we started this adventure, it was mostly so I could act on the bi identity I’d finally become aware of. I had no clue how much watching me with another woman would be a turn-on for you, too.”

…a pall of suspicion #SnippetSunday #SnipSun #RomanticSuspense #Sale #99¢ #MFRWAuthor

Picking up where we left off last week with The Heist, MF romantic suspense. The museum has just been broken into, but nothing was stolen. Kara is reflecting at the end of the day.

EXCERPT

The museum had a different pulse on Mondays. Kara loved when it was just staff working on projects. They could shout from room to room and move about freely without worrying about disturbing visitors. But not this Monday.

She closed her eyes. The police had arrived around noon. She’d made her call to the Upper Midwest Arts Council just before lunch. Alice Erikson had been supportive of the museum’s plight, but she’d been equally assertive about sending out a security consultant to help them prevent any further incursions. After all, as she’d pointed out, the Council had investments to protect.

The quick move to provide assistance really didn’t surprise Kara. She would’ve done the same if their roles had been reversed. Still, she wasn’t thrilled with the turn of events. The entire day had cast a pall of suspicion over her and her staff. Even the police had discounted the entire unforced entry as a likely prank by an insider.
