The Truth about Adriana…

Okay, we got tagged by not one but TWO author friends to challenge you to figure out the truth about us! Kissa Starling and Lara Zielinski – both of whom write fabulous lesbian and bisexual erotic fiction – started the ball rolling, and each of them has tagged us! The challenge? Make a list of statements only some of which are true, and let readers guess!

I think we’ll have lots of fun with this one – there are two of us, after all, writing erotic romance together under the pen name Adriana Kraft. So here goes: all but two of the following statements are true about one or the other of us. The prize? A free e-book (pdf format) of the first book in our Swinging Games Series: Anticipation. To enter, send us an email (adrianakraft99 @ yahoo.com without the spaces) and tell us which TWO statements are NOT true! We’ll give you a week to sort this out and we’ll draw a winner from the correct entries next Friday, March 12.

One or the other (or both!) of us:

1. has lived in 11 states

2. was a Peace Corps volunteer in South America

3. has a successful academic career in the social sciences

4. has conducted research in a legal brothel

5. has owned race horses

6. has travelled in nineteen foreign countries

7. has canoed the Canadian Boundary Waters

8. was lead vocalist in a band on Chicago’s North Side

9. has received Shamanic training

10. has slept at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills

11. started writing my first novel in grade school

12. has a published novel in the archives at the Erotic Heritage Museum

Can’t wait to see what you think!

We now officially tag the following authors – find out what the truth is about them, if you dare!

The real Adriana Kraft – Podcast Interview!

“You guys are really out there!” Book marketing guru Penny Sansevieri, who keynoted the March EPIC Conference in Las Vegas, was so struck with our books and our passion that she asked us to give her an interview for her Fascinating Authors podcast series. By mid April we were finally able to coordinate our busy schedules, and the interview is now live at

Adriana Kraft Interview

Behind the scenes with Adriana Kraft – here’s your chance to find out what makes us tick. We’re talking about why we write erotic romance, how we write together, what we like to write and read, why we focus on bisexual heroines, and what’s coming up next in our Meghan’s Playhouse series.

Book one, Seducing Cat, was released April 1 at Whiskey Creek Press Torrid and stayed in the April top ten best sellers all month, with a 4.5 kisses review at TwoLips Reviews. Book two, A Woman for Zachary, is due out July 1. The five book series chronicles the adventures of Meghan Keenan, a modern day Aphrodite who likes to bring other couples together by sharing herself with them, up close and personal.

What could college English professor Caitlin Shanahan ever have in common with the brash carpenter Kurt Davis?  Meghan Keenan, that’s what.  The twenty year old sprite has taken it upon herself to bring the unlikely pair together through sharing her sexual delights with each of them.  They never have a chance, and town-gown relationships have never been better…

awomanforzachary_c_frontZachary Cullen has ignored Josette Patrice’s overtures for years, but she agrees to take on his latest protégé-slash-arm-candy Meghan Keenan in her off-Broadway workshop theater. The girl has incredible talent, but Josie would stake her reputation on that little thing being a switch-hitter, like herself, and she doesn’t want Zach to be duped. Josie sets out to seduce Meg and expose her for what she is, but all bets are off when Meg turns the tables on Josie to hook her up with Zach.

Hazards of being a “mature” erotic romance writer

…so since it was raining Sunday afternoon we had to take our power walk indoors at the local mall. Hubby’s glasses had gotten bent out of shape somewhat (not gonna say how) so we stopped in at Lenscrafters for an adjustment. The sweet young thing remarked on how badly out of line they were and hubby joked that he’d just have to get me to stop hitting him so much. She got them straightened out, put them back on him and told me I’d just better keep my hands off him now. I looked at her, looked at him with a smile and said “Well, not in that way.” I watched the shock register on her face and then she said “you two give me so much hope, that you’re still doing that at your age. Do you give seminars?” Hmm. We’ll have to think on that one.
