Six Sentence Sunday ~ The Cougar Book

Here’s a little taste from our cougar story, published in Jolie DuPre’s anthology The Cougar Book.

BLURB: “A Taste of Ginger” offers an incredible night of decadence and sensuality for our newly divorced mid-life heroine, Ginger Nelson. Against her better judgment she’s let a co-worker talk her into an evening at a swing club. When Annette tells her a handsome young man at the bar is checking her out she wants to run the other way—but Annette abandons her to pursue her own interests, and Ginger must make her own choice for the night of a lifetime!

And then the nibbling had begun—from the top of Ginger’s head to her toes. She’d whimpered without embarrassment as Nathan explored her entire body as if determined to memorize its contours, its textures, its taste. He’d turned her over and back again.

Catching their breath, they’d sipped pinot noir from the bottle. Glasses seemed like an unnecessary barrier. And then she’d bathed Nathan with her tongue as thoroughly as he had her.

The Cougar Book is available from Logical Lust in both print and e-book:

Six Sentence Sunday

For our sexy six today, here’s a sample from our lesbian erotic romance “Bucket List Tattoo,” released last summer in Torquere’s Toy Box: Tattooed Ladies anthology.

Just past fifty and freshly divorced, cardiac nurse Natalie Gardner decides it’s time to create her personal bucket list. On the top of her list? A tattoo – but she’s nervous about the pain. Maybe Cindy McGraw, the hot young physical therapist she often lunches with, can help her out. Next on her list? It may be too much to hope for, but she’s definitely angling for more than tattoo advice from Cindy. Would a taste be too much to ask?

Cindy is the first speaker – she’s just finished painting a sample tattoo on Natalie’s breast:

“Remember, these paints are edible. The colors will run and fade when you shower, but the point was to let you see what a tattoo would look like.”

“I know. I just don’t like the idea of destroying your handiwork.”

“I see a smudge I didn’t take care of.” Cindy wet her finger and slid it along the stem of the flower, which extended down the slope of Natalie’s breast.

If you’d like to read an entry from Cindy’s journal, including the recipe for Cindy’s homemade edible body paints, you can find it on the Torquere yahoo group (a great place to keep up with new Torquere releases, btw) – here’s the LINK .

The anthology has great stories by two more authors:

Lipstick Prints by Kissa Starling: An online baker’s site provides an introduction for Tessa to Maria, a bisexual wife and mother. Their friendship builds through daily discussion, phone calls and eventually an in-person meeting. That moment in time becomes a catalyst for change in Tessa that she never thought possible.

In My Skin by Beth Wylde: Melissa is a tattoo artist whose girlfriend has a serious phobia about needles. Kendra finally decides to confront her fears and let Melissa tattoo her but just stepping into her lover’s shop leaves her shaking. Will Melissa be able to pull off the impossible and put her name in Kendra’s skin? It’s going to take some smooth moves and fast talking to get it done.

Six Sentence Sunday

Six Sentence Sunday has rolled around again – this time, we’re pulling a sexy six from Who’s the Coach, Book Six in our Swinging Games series at Extasy. Jen and Brett, a mid-life swinging couple, have been approached by the much younger Carson and Vanessa to mentor them into the swing lifestyle. Our excerpt takes place at a restaurant during the two couples’ first “meet and greet.”

“And that we put Carson down on our profile as bi-curious turns some people off—as if he’s about to jump another guy or something.” Vanessa shook her head. “We’re not stupid. Like you, we believe everything we do should be consensual.”

Brett tried to hold Vanessa’s gaze steadily when she looked at him straight on, as if trying to take his measure.

“You should know that I probably won’t do anal,” she said quietly, “the first time we play.”

Here’s more info on the book:
